2012 Do the Dow

If you missed the turning of the leaves along Minnesota’s North Shore, come join the artists of The Dow Building for a bit of fall “color” – on canvas, clay or cloth. Do the Dow, an annual “one-building art crawl,” will feature over 30 artists who will open their studios from 6-10:00 pm on Friday and noon-6:00 pm on Saturday.

Located at 2242 University Avenue, in the heart of the MidCity arts area of St. Paul, the Dow has a long tradition as an artists’ building.

The range of artistic media on view will include oil, acrylic, watercolor, pastel, encaustic, collage, printmaking and photography, as well as stained glass and sculpture. In addition, Drumheart, the women’s drum group, will be performing and giving demonstrations.
